For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for reading. Wherever I go, I always carry a book with me – usually more, because one should always have a backup. And possibly a backup to the backup. I have been known to go on trips for a weekend and pack a suitcase entirely full of books, but forget to pack clothes. I used to scorn ebooks, but now it is my primary method of book consumption, as the house we currently live in does not have much room for bookshelves (this was a big shock coming from Colorado, where my house had two large built-in bookshelves!). Reading on my Kindle isn’t so bad, and it definitely makes it easier to pack for trips!
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Central Michigan University in May 2018 with my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I am so proud of myself and worked so hard to achieve this. As for what is next? I’m not really sure. I feel like I’m not quite done with school yet. I am very interested in research, but I also love math and science I am considering branching out into other fields, or finding a way to combine my enjoyment of math with my interests in psychology. For now, I’m keeping my options open!
I have been married to my amazing husband for six years, and we live together in Michigan with our German Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, and Burmese cat, though my heart belongs in the mountains of North Carolina or Colorado 😉
